PUNJABI STYLE BUTTER CHICKEN MASALA

Butter chicken masala is a very famous chicken recipe which is prepared in fivestar hotels.Butter chicken masala is a gravy kind of dish which can be better had with butter naan.I will tell you the preparation method of it in Punjabi style.
INGREDIENTS
Chicken leg pieces-1/2 kg
Salt
Kashmiri chilli powder-2 teaspoons
Gram flour-1/2 teaspoon
Kasuri methi-1/2 teaspoon
Lemon-1/2
Capsicum-1/2
Tomato sauce-2 teaspoons(optional)
Ginger garlic paste-1/2 teaspoon
Oil
vinegar-1/2 teaspoon
Onion-1
Tomato-3(big size)
dry chillies-5
Coriander seeds-1/2 teaspoon
Cardamom-1
cinnamon-small piece
Green chili-2
Cloves-6
Butter
Cream
Chat masala*-1/2 teaspoon
Hung curd-3 teaspoons
PROCESS
MARINATION
  In a pan take chicken pieces and make slight marks with a knife.Add salt,kashmiri chilli powder 1 teaspoon,garam masala,kasuri methi 1/4 tea spoon,lemon juice,hung curd,ginger garlic paste 1/4 teaspoon,oil 2 teaspoons,vinegar,chat masala,gram flour and mix well
    Leave it to marinate for about 30 minutes
PREPARING PUREE
In a pan,pour 2 glasses of water and add chopped onion,capsicum pieces,dry chillies,tomato slices,coriander seeds,cardamom,cinnamon,cloves and boil well.
After it gets cool,grind it well in a mixer.Strain the mixture and use only the strained puree.
FRYING
  After marination,chicken can be fried in a microwave oven in grill mode for 15 minutes.If we don't have a oven at home,we can fry it with some butter in a pan for 15 minute
Take another pan and put some butter and add kashmiri chilli powder 1 teaspoon,kasuri methi 1/4 teaspoon,cream 4 teaspoons,salt.After frying them add the already prepared puree to it and put the chicken pieces.Finally 2 teaspoons tomato sauce must be added.Fry the mixture well for 15 minutes on low flame.
                    Yummy,delicious PUNJABI STYLE BUTTER MASALA is now ready.
*If kashmiri chilli powder is not available,we can use chilli powder and a pinch of colour.
*Hung curd can be prepared by straining off the water present in curd with a cloth.
