Banglore mallige IDLI with SAMBAR

Most commonly prepared breakfast is IDLI.But,its difficult to make it soft.Here
I am giving you easy recipe for preparing idli.This is special Bengaluru Mallige
Idli.
INGREDIENTS
Rice boiled(uppudubiyyam)-3cups
Rice-1cup
Urad dal (uddipappu)--1 cup
Fenu greek seeds(menthulu)-1/2 tea spoon
Rice flakes(atukulu)-3/4 cup
boiled rice-1/2 cup
Steps of Preparation
1.Add rice boiled,rice,urad dal,fenugreek seeds,rice flakes in a bowl
2.Add some water to it and leave it overnight or atleast for 6 hours.
3.After that add boiled rice
4.Now grind the mixture well
5.This paste can be used for making idlis and dosa too
6.Before making idlis add some salt and baking soda to the paste.
 The best combination to have with idli is sambar.So lets see how to prepare it
INGREDIENTS
Tomato-2
Dry chillies
REd gram-1 cup
Sambar powder-2 1/2 tea spoon
salt
Tamarind
Jeera
Asafoetida(inguva)
Curry leaves
Mustard
Oil
Onion-1/2
Steps
1.Boil red gram,onion,tomato and paste them well'
2.In a pan put the paste,add some sambar powder,salt,tamarind juice
3.Add some water and boil it well
4.In other pan pour some oil and fry mustard,Asafoetida,,jeera,curry leaves and drychillies.
5.Add this to sambar only after turning off the gas.
